Children’s Privacy Notice

Last updated 7 October 2026

Pre-launch legal draft. Operator identity, contacts, retention schedule, processors, jurisdictions, and consent method require legal approval before publication.

For parents and guardians

KidsGain is designed so a parent creates and controls the child’s Hero profile. This notice explains child-specific handling and supplements the Privacy Policy.

Information about a Hero

A parent may provide a name or nickname, date of birth, avatar, device pairing information, missions, rewards and rules. Depending on enabled controls, KidsGain may process app usage, screen time, device status, bedtime events, and privacy-limited web activity.

How it is used

Child information is used only to operate family features, show progress, enforce parent-selected controls, protect accounts and devices, and provide support. It is not sold or used for behavioural advertising.

Parental choice and consent

Where verifiable parental consent is required, collection must not begin until the parent receives direct notice and completes the approved consent flow. A platform parental gate alone may not satisfy legal consent requirements.

Parent controls

Parents may review, correct, export, stop further collection, or request deletion of child information. Disabling a device permission stops the related future collection but may limit controls.

Minimisation and retention

KidsGain should collect only information reasonably necessary for the selected feature and retain it only as long as needed. A child is not required to provide more information than necessary to participate.
